How do you feel about community tables and family-style dining?

Awkward! Who wants to eat with people they don't know?
It's great at home — in restaurants, not so much.
It's tolerable if no other seats are available.
Food is a wonderful ice breaker, so it can be fun.
I like it! It's nice to meet new people.
